Ölüdeniz is famous for its lagoon, but the coastline south of it is just as good, and the only way to see most of it is from a boat. This full-day trip leaves Ölüdeniz beach at 10:30 and works its way along the cliffs to the bays that roads never reach, stopping for 30 to 60 minutes at each one so there is real time to swim, snorkel and lie in the sun.

The route covers Butterfly Valley, a steep green gorge that opens onto a small beach; Aquarium Bay, where the water is clear enough to watch fish from the deck and where lunch is served; Cold Water Bay, cooled by mountain springs and popular for jumping off the rocks; St Nicholas Island with its Byzantine church ruins; and Camel Beach, whose shallow water suits children and non-swimmers. The captain may change the order or swap a stop if the wind demands it.

Pick the boat that suits your group. The party boat has a pirate theme, a sound system and a foam party after lunch; the family boat takes a calmer line with chill-out music and plenty of shade. Both follow the same route at the same price.
